The EVO9204 was precisely tuned and tested on our in-house dyno to replicate stock fueling while increasing horsepower and torque. The EVO9204 system features our 2-piece box design that incorporates our boost plenum, a massive SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a smooth rotational molded induction tube for reduced restriction levels, and premium hardware. Every Injen Evolution air induction system utilizes Injen’s proprietary SuperNano-Web dry air filters. The Evolution induction systems utilize some of the largest filters on the market employing super deep filter pleats, with some measuring over 1.25”deep! This particular intake kit also features our SHUR-LOCK mounting system on the air filter to ensure a non-slip seal. The entire product looks amazing and fits very well in my 2017 Mustang GT 5.0. I have only two comments on this product. 1. The air box doesn't have the same exterior color or shine as the intake tube.
2. Since I have a 2017 year mustang I needed to block off one of the ports on the intake tube. This was not described in the description of this intake and no specific directions were provided on how to remove the stainless tube and the stainless tube has no design for a wrench to remove it. It should have this considering Ingen knows it needs to be done on this year model.
