Our 3 powder-coated finishes give your engine bay the custom look it deserves! Powder-coating is resistant to chipping, fading, scratching and wearing making the finish well suited for metal parts that come into contact with high temperatures and other environmental factors.
Powder coating is a type of coating that is electrostatically applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form.
After the coating is electrostatically applied, it is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a “skin”. This process yields a durable finish with a lifespan of 15 to 20 years!
Our powder-coated finishes are easy to maintain only requiring mild soap and water. AVOID CHEMICAL CLEANERS as they will damage your coating. Powder-coating is also an environmentally friendly option that does not require the use of solvents or chemicals to apply. This product is safe for use and disposal, no matter the composition and color.
