Injen Technology is a recognized leader in the automotive performance aftermarket with over two decades of proven manufacturing capabilities. We currently have opportunities for full-time employment in our welding division for individuals that want to join our growing team.
Experience is highly preferred, but not required, as we are willing to train the right candidate. Injen Technology will provide brief on-site training for the position to cover the basics of TIG-Welding aluminum and stainless steel parts to Injen Technology Standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create quality welds according to instruction provided and to Injen standards
Inspect welds for accuracy and penetration
Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts
Change wire, as needed
Change gas tanks, as needed
Responsible for the proper packaging, identifying, and moving of all finished products to the proper location
Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use (INCLUDING PPE)
Performs first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections as required
Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required
Perform simple maintenance and repair as required
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Ability to read and speak English, communicate safety requirements necessary to maintain a safe work environment and ability to respond to questions from peers and the leadership.
Ability to read and understand all job tags..
Position requires basic mathematical ability.
Ability to identify obvious problems and communicate with leadership address the issue.
Must be able to frequently lift 20-25 pounds and occasionally lift 45 pounds.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Ability to grip and apply pressure to tool or part.
Attention to detail to ensure a high level of visual quality parts
Requires frequent and repetitive arm and hand motions.
Additional Salary Information:
Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour, D.O.E..
